This was a bit disappointingI had arranged to meet Brightmove here and I was the first to arrive.
I found myself sitting in the middle of everyone’s converstions! Not my thing! I like a pub where, yes, you hear the sound of voices, but not every word uttered being fed to to as if by loudspeaker.
I don’t understand how this was so, as it seemed not a lot different to many other pubs. How nice it would be to say ‘See you at the King’s Head’ or ‘Meet you as usual? King’s Head!’, but it is not to be.
It does have a pretty good standard pub menu, and a nice beer garden.
We went in the hotel next door
