Poor service for price. Expensive Internet and little mobile access forcing use of the hotels Internet Not very well staffed they are milking it for all it’s worth. Food is poor standard menus which should be destroyed. Process driven kitchen mass purchased frozen food. Given country location would expect local goods and new varied menu daily. Chef probably has no choice so can’t blame him. All instructions for food probably written down from the head office. Food mostly fried and stogy and just well the worst food I have tasted for a long time. If you forced to stay please don’t given them any money for food, there are some nice pubs close by walking distance.

This is a standard Marriott and would normally get a 3 star from me, but having stayed in 3 other hotels in Peterborough, I think it deserves a fourth star as the best hotel of the lot. Upsides: Comfortable rooms, friendly hotel and staff, quiet rooms, beds are nice, rooms are always clean. Food is done well, both breakfast and dinner. Downsides: No free wifi in the rooms. Far from the centre of Peterborough(cab cost £10). No other dining options nearby except a Harvester.
