American roads are often made using the cheapest possible materials and temporary asphalt, which is why they get all potholey and broken up very quickly, all the repair work is undone. If you’ve ever down one of these«Undone Roads» then you know you can’t give one of them more than 3 stars. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium — When on tour in 2011, I visited ABAX for the first time, and it was called«London Road» then, or so I thought it was. The Posh, as they’re known, make a real ruckus and I loved the atmosphere a lot. I want to give it a 4 star because of how loud and into it the crowd were, but the woman at the ticket desk was a real pain, and the weather was awful, the ground is in a bit of disrepair and the stands didn’t cover me from the wind nor the rain at all. I think a facelift is in order for this place, but I stopped by in 2014 to take pix, and I’ll be back in the future to see another game, especially if it gets renovations. I’ve been to most UK&US stadiums, due to lifelong obsessions with travel, sport & especially footy(soccer to Americans). Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United(hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool(fave team) around. Also, when back in UK I’ll take more pix, and add more stadia! *** return to regular review *** This stadium has sentimental value to me since it’s right next to the riverboat concert venue where I performed on tour here, but in all honesty it’s not a great ground. Built in 1913, an ugly blue colour, not properly closed in, and very small on one end(I know a lot of guys like that). It’s being rebuilt right now so hopefully it’ll be up to 4 stars when it’s done.
