Ashtree House Hotel

Nice location in a quiet road in the centre of town with on-​site parking.
The room was nicely decorated, a reasonable size with a comfy bed and excellent shower.
The breakfast was very good, if I visit again I should try the dinner.
Recommended.

The only place you should stay when in the Paisley area. The Inn sits on a slight hill overlooking the town and is around the corner from the University of the West of Scotland. Inside, the original woodwork and layout will have you appreciating Scottish craftsman.
The rooms are large with modern en suite bathrooms. Free Wi-​Fi, local TV channels and tea provided in each room. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea is available in their dining room/​meeting room.
The proprietors are a lovely couple. They do whatever needed to make their guest feel like home. They also put up with what their guests get into. We arrived back at the Inn around midnight on the last night to eat our chips with friends not staying at the Inn. The landlord got up to check on us, opened the bar and served us Scotch until 2:30 in the morning when I decided I had enough. My 5:30 alarm was not as welcoming.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
