My family all love the food at the Dilshad. I’ve eaten at the restaurant and the service was great. If I have a takeaway I always order on the phone and collect the meal. I’ve never been disappointed. Its good value as well. The food is varied and well prepared. The restaurant has been redecorated in the last year or so when it was taken over by new managment and the name was changed from The Jaipur. The biggest disadvantage is the Dilshad has no parking and you can’t park outside but the road at the side has some parking and if you can’t find any spaces there you can use local council car parks.

I placed an order with this place based on the previous review. What a mistake that was. The guy who took the order told me an hour for delivery, which is fair. After 90 minutes I called to find out where it was. It turned up 2 hours after ordering, but that’s not the best bit I opened the bag on the doorstep to discover a large bag of mixed curry! All the lids were off the food and it was a big ol’ bag of random curry! Needless to say, I refused delivery. So, I can’t comment on the restaurant, but the takeaway service is shocking. Avoid at all costs.

Another great curry house + take away service. Amazing and original selection of curries on offer. Plenty of delicious food and gets to your table within 30 – 40 minutes. Very clean Restaurant, massive portions and quite original selection of curries — with unusual dishes on offer, including excellent fish curries. Extremely friendly staff.
