Hadn’t been in here before but glad we did now. Very cheery and has a great atmosphere. Some great entertainment is put on. Stocks some great ales/lagers, and of course, Guiness. Not a great lover of that! The food was presented and served by charming staff, who most certainly seem to like working there. Prices are pretty good. two courses for £10 or three for £12! Can recommend the Grilled Asparagus Spears with Prosciutto Ham and Hollandaise Sauce, followed by King Prawn and Chorizo Liguini with Tamato, Chilli, Lemon and White wineoh yes!!! My wife went for Bantry Bay mussels followed by the Irish Stew, which she said was just brilliant. Will, most definitely, return here on our next trip up!

First thing to know is this isn’t a restaurant. Waiters don’t come to the table nor is their flatware anywhere near the table. In this vein it’s similar to a McDonald’s. Once you sort out that you must order from the counter and pick up your own flatware from a kiosk, a server does deliver food. The food is just terrible. Ordered the fish and chips. Chips resembled pieces of rubber and the fish was partially battered. We attempted to order another round of drinks from the counter and we were met with numerous suspicious questions about whether we were really customers. Finally, because they don’t bring a bill to the table, we went to the counter to close the tab. The person behind the counter refused to give an itemized bill. I am one that normally tips well as I believe restaurant staff work hard. We didn’t tip. Strongly recommend skipping this place.
