Kaliko

Kaliko sounds kind of exotic but is actually quite the opposite. It specilises in smart work clothes for women, which is fair enough considering the number of men’s suit shops out there. Of course, many offices let women wear smart formal, but this caters for the more suit-​based jobs and allows women to have nicely tailored jackets and skirts, and not a dodgy 80s shoulderpad to be seen! The service is second to none, but it’s not too comfortable to just browse. The staff are very polite and able to give you personal service. I feel like a high-​flying businesswoman just looking at some of the clothes (and I wouldn’t mind going to a few parties justifying some of the outfits hee either), but unfortunately you need to be quite successful in order to be able to afford/​justify buying many things on show.

This is a lovely shop. It was a little pricey but they had a very nice selection of sale stuff as well. There was mostly ‘event’ wear and quite formal business stuff. They don’t seem to have any other branches unfortunately.
