what great food down to earth good tasty home made food. Very well worth a visit for value and taste and friendly staff. cosy fire in old world bar/​lounge. very tasty sandwiches as well as full meals. Fish and chips very good, crisp batter fleshy fish home made chips and homemade coleslaw. one special of the day was lamb casserole with carrots in white sauce and cabbage with bacon pieces which was delicious. Didn’t try the desserts but they sounded wonderful. Besides sunday lunch they serve comfort foods like home made stew 4pm to 8pm sundays.
