Morrisons in Ormskirk offers a pleasant shopping environment. Compared to supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Tesco, Morrisons is just as good in terms of variety and quality but a bit more expensive. This branch has a good choice of sections like a deli counter, bakery and decent looking café which is perfect for the family.
I actually tried out their impressive looking café and ordered a kids meal for just £2.49; this included a Capri Sun drink, Freddo chocolate bar, fruit bag and wait for it, a Heroes Cheeseburger! However, the burger was not such a hero in terms of taste because it was the most pathetic burger I have ever had; it had a texture like crispy cardboard and was so thin, it was unbelievable (nothing like the picture on the menu). Plus, I had to wait about 10 minutes for it to arrive. The fries were okay but greasy. Anyhow, I would at least avoid kids meals here. Other than that, Morrisons provides a good shopping experience.
