This review is for The Gate In Market Bosworth leicester Visiting from Liverpool in Feb, we found the nearest pub to Bosworth Hall and visited.(about 3 miles) We were taken back by the quality of the food and price. I had meat and potato pie, chips veg and peas. This came with gravy which is usually an extra in other 2 for 10 places. My partner had steak, chips peas, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms We ordered extras of 2 plates of onion rings and salad + dressing and coleslaw. Drinks 1 lime and soda. The food was piping hot, tasty and best of all the bill was £16.35 for everything. Review for pubs can quickly go out of date with changes of management, but at this moment in time, its spot on. Nice friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Only complaint is that the onion rings were large portions, and I ended up overeating because they were so nice :)
