I was in Nottingham for two nights and it was pretty cold.
This is a Wetherspoon’s Bar right in the town square over looking the Christmas Market.
I had to chase up my food order after 30 minutes of waiting :(And I know it was busy but my friends were on a time limit of 90 minutes which I presumed was pretty reasonable.
However the staff were really nice and polite. Which is why I gave it three stars.

Much better than the nearby Roebuck. Good service and good range of drinks. Can be noisy but this is to be expected.

Bog standard Wetherspoons establishment… shows BBC news/Sky Sports news on the TV… has some real ales… drinks and meal promotions as any other spoons. Has another seating section upstairs which provides good views over Old Market Square.
Good for a cheapish drink or somewhere to start a night.
