A dynamic pub in central Norwich. Nice range of casks with styles going beyond bitter and gold — APA, IPA, for example. Congenial barman. There is a somewhat gothic feel about the place — perhaps a nod to the pub’s murderous past. Four Seasons playing over the speakers, which is like. Definitely a venue worth checking out if you are visiting Norwich.

Nice bar, with a great atmosphere. Cool style with a ‘murderer’ themed bar which is interesting. Very good for football fans, showing at least two games at a time. Can be hard to get a seat sometimes as very popular but during quiet times is very good as the bar staff are friendly and up for a chat. Would recommend the murderers ale, good ale at £2.99. Food is quite pricey but is delicious so worth that little extra.

Murderers there areon the walls. killers such as Harvey Oswald and Capone look back at you. A lovely proper pub offering a fair few beers(9 always on). I went for Knot Just Another IPA(in honour of the Knot Bird) Shame there are a few games machines. Always annoying.

Not a bad spot — catching the afternoon rays — and a damn good array of drinkables. I seem to have swapped the toothless ones of Norwich for the Grant Mitchell lookalikes now but can’t complain. The pub is a decent size and the food looks good. The young bar man was a bit«look at me» — but I’m sure that was more his age and the fact that he has a full set of teeth. Right next to the castle and well worth popping in to.

A traditional public house that’s still got the usual nooks and crannies as it twists and turns back from the bar area into the restaurant area. Serving a few of the usual mass produced beers, this place also has a fine selection of real ales and guest ales, so that you’re not stuck with the same old same old. Friendly staff. I didn’t try dinner as I arrived too late to eat. They have a couple of large screen TV’s and apparently offer football in 3D — you can borrow the glasses for the match. The place is called The Murderers Pub because there is apparently a history of not one but TWO murders related to its history, which dates back to the 1530. There are seats outside on the street. They tend to get some sunlight in the afternoon.

A great little city centre pub, the murderers or the gardeners arms(it is known as both!!) that serves food as well as a huge range of drinks and has a great atmosphere. It also has a great back room for party hiring, which i have done and the staff are very friendly and prices not too pricey! I’d avoid it on football days as it does tend to be a good place to meet in the city.

The Murderers(aka) The Gardeners Arms The Murderers has a Juke Box! Situated in the heart of Norwich, The Murderers offers a great weekend city vibe with so many bar staff you never have to wait for more than a few minutes to be served. With a vibrant atmosphere and friendly bar staff, it is a great place to go drinking before heading to a club or gig. Although it is not the cheapest place to drink in Norwich, the quality of the beers and lagers is superb so you get what you pay for! The Murderers is a warm, cosy pub and the interior gives the place a more traditional feel with wooden beams on the ceilings and walls, ageing furniture and odd ornaments such as copper pots and pans dotted around. Serving decent traditional pub food at a reasonable price, it is popular with city workers at lunch times and throughout the daytime. The Murderers has a Juke Box!
