This dance school is situated on the busy Newmarket Road that leads into the city centre. There is very little parking and it can be difficult to find somewhere. My daughter attended pre-primary ballet lessons here on a Saturday for about a year when she was 3. The building itself is an old house and so it is quite higgledy piggledy with narrow staircases. Trying to go in and upstairs while a class that had just finished was coming down to go out was slightly chaotic. Very cramped upstairs and difficult to get your child changed. The lessons themselves I think were fine and I loved the fact that they had a pianist accompany them. Parents are not allowed to stay and watch which I think is a shame at this age, but I appreciate they don’t want the children distracted. I was not sorry that my daughter wanted to give up ballet after about a year, not because I think it is a bad school in any way, just simply because of the logistical difficulties of parking and space.
