the sole-​eel has excellent food menu (except when sunday roast beef is awful-​too chewy to eat).
their 2 meals for £7.99 is great value too.
its local in town on st peters square so handy if your shopping re getting lunch out

Located near Argos on the St Peters Way car park, this place has nice décor and friendly staff
Drinks are cheap (happy hour 6 — 8pm where the video jukebox is also free) and I believe there is a student night on a Monday.
Not very busy at all when I visited from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on a Friday night and it looks like there is an upstairs to the bar but it was closed off when I visited.
Pub has a pool table.
