I love shops that are different, and I stumbled across this shop by accident and it’s name and windows display captured my attention straight away. If you are looking for an item or present out of the ordinary this is the place to go. They stock a large range of Cath Kidston products which anyone who is familiar with this range will know that you get quality and something different. There is a good range of wrapping paper and gift bags and cards. It really is a shop that every time you think that you have seen everything you can be assured that time thing else will capture your attention.

love Marmalade Moon and will have one of everything they’ve got please. Maybe two. So what’s to like? Well, it’s a Cath Kidston emporium for a start and everyone loves a little bit of Cath Kidston. My own purchases last time were a mug(no-one else is allowed to even touch it) and an apron(makes me feel like a domestic godess, even when heating up an M&S special). Marmalade Moon is a definite go-to for birthday and Christmas goodies like candles, purses, soaps and room fragrances. A good option for teachers’ presents too. We all know that Cath Kidston’s perfect little trinkets don’t come cheap but don’t be put off, Marmalade Moon also has some really affordable little treats like pretty napkin rings paper napkins. I know I never use them but I still like to kid myself that one day mealtimes won’t include small children falling off chairs and juice being spilt into my plate. A girl can dream.

Now, one thing you won’t find in this sweet little gift shop is marmalade. Or a moon. Or a marmalade moon for that matter. Just in case you wondered. What you will find is a huge variety of glorious gifts — including an extensive range of Cath Kidson goodies. Cath Kidson jewellery, pyjamas, cutlery, mugs, oven gloves, pretty napkins, notepads, toiletries… the whole lot. Marmalade Moon should really be renamed ‘The Cath Kidson Store’(inventive I know). I didn’t even know she made half the stuff… Aside from the Cath Kidson gifts, there are also a range of Irish gifts(leprechauns, shamrocks, sheep etc), tableware, children’s gifts and toys(including the cutest ballet bags for girls), gorgeous biscuit and sweet tins(with biscuits and sweets included), beautiful toiletries and so forth. The shop really isn’t all that big either… must be a bit like the Tardis, or maybe it has expanding walls… No marmalade moons(darn), but plenty of other dazzling gifts to be found. Sneak a peek… go on, you know you want to!
