Extrodinarally peaceful! Given that it is an ex-​hunting lodge means that it is surrounded by sweeping lawns and plenty of woodland for walks. The owners are cheerful and welcoming and the food is good, traditional english food with home grown produce. The afternoon teas are also excellent.
