Went there to eat once and came back for their special«Quizz night». I had the best time ever ! The place is big and cosy at the same time, and I had a great burger time. I would definitively come back !

Went for the live music on our cab driver’s recommendation, and did not disappoint! Slightly older crowd. Seemed more like locals than tourists. Cocktails were not amazing but for £3.75 they were pretty good.

This is quite a big pub with some decent beer choices and a very pleasant yard out back. The beers were Doom Bar, SA Gold, Betty Stogs and Cornish Knocker. They have a striking red Skinners pool table too. Newquay is more about quantity than quality when it comes to watering holes. In my view this is the best pub in the centre of town.

Best pub in Newquay for me, hands down. One of the rare places where locals and tourists alike converge, this is also one of the only venues in town that regularly puts on live music. Despite being owned by a chain, it’s managed to retain a sense of the olde worldy, and feels really authentic, for want of a much better word! They have an informal restaurant area, which is very kid and family friendly, and offers a wide range of grub for pretty reasonable prices, and is well worth a visit on a rare rainy day, ahem! There’s also a(busy) pool table, surfing vids on constant replay, and a roaring open fire — what more do you want, huh?
