This was perhaps the most nervewracking stop on our entire trip, because we had a very late arrival and the last thing you want after a tiring day is a problem with your room. Fortunately, the room was ready, clean, and in good shape, so we could easily crash out. The promised wireless internet is only available in the common areas, so that was a minor hiccup, but overall, a very good experience. A modern, solid hotel option through and through. Breakfast is far from what I’d call good, but at least there was plenty of it. A very good option for this part of the UK to be sure. Right off the highway to boot.

Very nice hotel right on the M4. Magor is nearby but quiet town. There is a station it is unmanned, called Severn Junction. Room is comfy, nice welcome, food is good and all facilities excellent. No gym and wifi only available in downstairs.

Although hard to get to from the Motorway(lots of tuck around and hidden accesses… Aim for the Stella Artois brewery tours(across the street)) This is thoroughly modern(i.e 2010ish) Hotel is clean, Quiet and modern. So far my experience in Europe is broken down to three types of accomodation: The 50 – 500 year old buildings that attempt to offer acomodation mixed with squeeks, drafts and ghosts The 50 – 20 year old Euro hotels that offer 60′ chic, drafts and high prices the Modern Chain Hotel… that is this one, Modern finish, climate control, concrete construction, cable TV… My kind of place and affordable(relative to «Europe» being«affordable») Free Internet in your room(wired) Cable LCDTV restaurant and bar in the hotel, I like it and will stay here when ever I am in the area. The rack rate on our stay was $ 50# including parking/internet and breakfast bar… best deal I have so far found in a hotel in this part of England/Wales. A quick drive to Newport/Cardiff or even Bristol
