Early Learning Centre is a popular high street store specialising in toys for all ages. You can not only shop in store you can shop online also which is what I do mostly and you can also shop vie their catalogue which you can either pick up in store or request vie the website which is . All stores vary in sizes, I live in a city but our ELC store is not the biggest which is annoying as I have a double buggy and 2 babies who love their toys whereas a city close by their store is huge. Although I do love ELC I do find it a bit expensive but at the same time I can’t complain about the quality of their toys. They have a vast range of toys, but not all stock can be find in stores, I suppose it depends on the size of the store itself, you can probably find more online. The toys they have range from baby to toddler, outdoor toys, music, puzzles and games cars and trains, art and crafts and many more to choose from. I will probably be writing mostly about their website as that is what I use most, when looking on their website I noticed they have a Birthday Club which you can join for your little ones. The birthday club is free to join and its for children from the age 0 — 6. Upon joining the club you receive a 20% off voucher for going to buy birthday presents. Also your child receives a treat in time for their birthday, now I can’t tell you what the treat is as its my twins birthday next week and havnt had anything yet, hopefully soon though. It also gives you party ideas from games to themes and personalised gifts ideas. Also on the website there is a Kids Zone which has online games for your children to play, so not only can you shop and spend your pennies but your child can have a little fun to. To help you out as well there is The Inspiration Centre Section which gives you ideas on what your children can do(play wise) and what you can do with your children to keep them busy and occupied. When choosing this section, you can either choose the age of your child, for example 0 – 1 and it provides you with ideas such as offering your baby soft blocks and how this helps them. I havnt really looked at anything else on this section, but these ideas are very helpful I use most of the suggestions to keep my twins happy and let them play happily. There is usually offers on their website also, offers such as buy 3 for 2 on certain toys which is a big incentive to shop with them espcially coming up to Christmas and big occasions or even if you just feel like spoiling your child. Now I havnt been on all of the sections on the site at the moment I tend to stick to baby and toddler as my boys are only one next week. But if you do want to choose a section they give you a few options to choose from, you can shop by Gender choosing boy, girl or both. You can shop By Price choosing Under £10 £10-£20 £20−30 and so on. You can also shop by age, 0−6months 6−12months 1−2years and so on. Or you can shop by skills for example Creativity or Physical Developments and last but not least you can shop by Brand which includes Blossom Farm, Fisher Price, Mega Bloks. So extremely easy to shop and find exactly what you’re looking for. If items are reduced you can clearly see as the new price is in bold red writing and next to it is the crossed out previous price, so you can easily see what money you will be saving. I reccomend this store, and its website to anybody looking to buy their children new toys and gifts. The quality of the toys are brilliant in my opinion, my boys love cars but obviously I cant buy them little cars with bits on them that they can choke on etc so I buy them their chunky vehicles which are perfect for their little hands to grab hold of and they can play without me worrying about them choking or pulling them apart, perfect products.
