Asda

Staff in Asda are not paid as much as staff in some other supermarket chain but their green uniform has to be better than that colour the poor Morrisons staff have to wear.
This is a medium size Asda that sells clothes, mobiles, home stuff and food. What is impressive though is the staff. Ninety five percent of who know how to smile and try to make the best of their lot. Does it not just make a huge difference when someone who you have to deal with is smiling and friendly? It kinda makes you want to go back…
My advice? Oh try it out and smile right back and make their day :)))))

I stopped off here yesterday evening on my way back to Kilmarnock from Edinburgh. I was very pleased to find a large supermarket that was open 24 hours and especially an Asda as it’s my favourite supermarket! It’s a very large store with a good clothing range so I had a browse there before I bought the groceries.
I liked the freshness of the salads here and the large range of vegetables and fruits.
I found the staff very helpful and friendly too.
There are plenty of disabled parking bays all along the front of the store which is better than at many supermarkets where there are only a few at the side. There are two free withdrawal cash points at the front as well.

This store is open 24hr andf sells as is common with most big supermarkets now, a range of electrical goods from TV’s to hair dryers, from fuses to memory cards and the usual fresh fruit, veg, and dairy goods. It has a good selection of beer and wines and spirits. An on site 24 hr Petrol Station. Parking is good with dedicated spots for the disabled in front of the store as well as parking for mother and baby and a covered walk way from the car park to the store, it has 3 cash machines and it has motorised wheelchairs for use in store. Service is good in store and most of the staff helpful and willing to look in the stock room if the item that you are looking for is not on the shelf, it has a kiosk in store for cigarettes and news papers or the lottery but don’t expect to get cigarettes or a paper before 8 am. As with most stores it is a good idea to look over your receipt before you leave the store as mistakes are sometimes made with the shelf price and the till price, but these are always quickly sorted and if overcharged a credit given and a gift card with the amount overcharged is also given. A good shop for the weekly shop.
