Friendly staff and excellent service, been using them off and on for the last 30 odd years. They stock most stuff that's needed for typical DIY projects.

They're a small shop and obviously can't compete with the DIY mega stores on price. However, they more than make up for it with superb customer service.

One of a dying breed, this hardware shop is like something straight out of the forties. It is quite a large shop and sells quite a large range of hardware merchandise from door numbers to padlocks. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and prices are quite reasonable. It is the sort of place where you can go and get something quite obscure or ask for advice on how to handle a hardware problem.
