Fairly standard chippy, reasonably priced and decent portion sizes.
I had a portion of curry sauce with my chips which was a bit ‘meh’, jumbo sausage was nice though.
Careful when you ask for salt and vinegar though as some staff members can go a bit crazy with them and put way too much on.

Gosforth Chippy serves good quality fried fish at a decent price. The chips here aren’t my favourite but the quality of the fish makes up for the fact the chips are a bit soggy for my tastes. The sausages and scampi here are pretty decent as well, and the staff is usually quite friendly and fast with their service.

Agreed; this is a reasonable chippy with a biggish queue. I think Gills in Heaton is better.
Has a fairly wide range but most orders appear to be fish and chips. Doesnt do kebabs if I recall

An above average chippy not the best I have ever tasted but not the worst. A def for anybody wanting a bag of chips who finds themselves in gosforth. No body local is better than them, with the daily specials priced at £1.90 you can get sausage chips and gravy or curry, which is a bargain in anybody’s book, prices are reasonable, a selection of pop, but gosforth chippy does offer what most chip shops don’t a delivery service, very unique I think to chippys but give them a call and they will drop it of at your home or office. Situated on the high street.
