New Brighton Station is just up the hill from the New Brighton Promenade. This is that station you will need to access the New Brighton Promenade and seaside attractions, and Fort Perch Rock. From Liverpool, you will need to get a train on the Wirral line from any of the Liverpool stations. You will take the New Brighton train all the way to the last stop. The journey takes a little over 20 minutes from Liverpool. The town of New Brighton is a charming little seaside destination, once a bustling holiday resort in the late 1800’s and into the 1900. Although many people tend to think of the town as dead and boring now, there are actually a lot of fun things to do in the summer months, down by the water. Along the promenade you will find ice cream shops, sweet shops, a bowling alley and laser tag place, the Floral Pavilion, local pubs, and miles of sandy beaches when the tide is out. The New Brighton train station has public restrooms that are free to use, and also has a small café next door in case you need a cuppa before setting off home.
