In light of my newly acquired Grumpy Old Woman status you’d think that I wouldn’t like this place. But strangely I do. They play music by Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby which I love. They have American and Italian food which I love(I admit it, I am and ex-American). It’s not too noisy. They are good with the kids. Have food that kids like(fries)(did you see me go all American there?) and food that I like(vegetarian). Go early or late to avoid the crowds, take your kids and your mother and then buy your mother the compilation CD of all the great songs you sang along to during the meal. Oh, and best of all there’s Italian lessons in the toilet!

I don’t know why, but I love everything about Frankie & Benny’s. From the décor to the menu to the music, everything about it gets a solid thumbs up from me, but the biggest commendation of all has to be the food itself. Out of all the times I’ve been to this lovable chain, I’ve never once had a bad meal. In fact, the food has been so good, the ride home afterwards normally consists of me reminiscing fondly at the delicious meal I’d eaten only ten minutes before. This particular restaurant has many perks, but its main bonus feature is its location. Situated opposite the bowling alley and just a brisk walk away from the cinema, Frankie & Benny’s is in a superb spot for a full night out of activities. The restaurant is a great way to start or end an evening out, if you plan on watching a film or going bowling and the massive car park means you shouldn’t have to spend too long traipsing around for a space.
