Over priced, decent sushi that will satisfy any basic sushi craving as there aren’t many options in the vicinity.

Sushi in England?! Not too shabby. A little overpriced but food is pretty good. I go here often whenever I have a hankering for sushi. This place suffices. Only down fall the dining in area is pretty small and isn’t well ventilated so you’ll smell like the oil they use for frying after you’re done eating. My go to rolls are the predator roll it’s just chicken Katsu and some spring rolls can’t go wrong with that! The cardinal is pretty good, they are very large rolls so at times the ratio of rice to the fish can be a bit overwhelming. Wish they had free refills for soda and the miso soup then I would rate this a 5 star!

Who could imagine sushi this good in Mildenhall?! Sumo serves up fantastic sushi comparable to just about anything I’ve tried, even having spent two years living in Asia. The only reason this isn’t a five star review is due to the dinning area in the restaurant. It’s quite a cramped atmosphere, but their food has always been worth it.

Although all Japanese restaurants in the area are run by Chinese, you can’t get any better sushi around Laken/Mil area than here period. Believe me, I spent 3 years in Okinawa. If the price was more reasonable, I could give them 5 stars. The only negative: Ramen. Let’s just say Japanese do better job at cooking ramen.

I just got delivery and it was fast getting here but that is the only good thing about it. Everything was horrible I’ll never get food from here again and I’ll just get my sushi at oysy sushi they have much better prices and rolls.

Stumbled here by surprise. Great food although a little overpriced for what I am used to. I had better sushi for cheaper however the sushi options are not so big around here so in the end they deserve my rating. Great service and I loved my dragon roll

Delicious sushi, great service. The predator is my favorite. So many options on the menu it may take you a while to choose. The dumplings are also awesome

Oh wow, this is the perfect sushi restaurant. It’s very rare to find a place as authentic as this in England– I’ve not found a sushi place as good as this outside of Japan. Run by Japanese proprietors, the menu has a great, fresh selection of extremely good sushi. You haven’t really had proper sushi until you’ve been to a place like this. And the mochi was great(Japanese sweets)

Best sushi in Suffolk! I have been eating sushi in America for the past 13 years, and this place can hold it’s own. Every time I have sushi in various parts of England it is always a disappointment. Sumo Sushi was the oxymoron of disappointment. It was amazing. The freshness of the fish was to die for. I never liked squid, but ordered the sashimi special and it came with squid, it was very good but at first I didn’t know what I was eating, I asked, I am particular about my sushi and this time tried something new, it was squid and it was absolutely scrumptious, talk about melting in my mouth. Tuna and salmon was delicious. The unagi was super fresh, ordered the day before. I always like to check and see when sushi restaurants order their fish, Sumo does it on the day or the day before, either way it is still super fresh. I had a lovely seaweed salad, the best one yet in England. I am so tired of Yo Sushi’s drag seaweed salad that is dry and bland, I am glad I never have to drive to Cambridge again for sushi, I can simply drive a few miles and I’m at my favorite sushi place. I love their Sumo roll, it has; flying fish & salmon fish roe, salmon, sweet egg omelet, eel, prawn, cucumber, and yellow pickle. The roll is so big it took 2 – 3 bites per piece, I had to order the fattest roll on the menu. Tuna hand rolls did not disappoint. The service is impeccable. They get an A+. We dined table of 3 and we all really enjoyed ourselves and kept ordering more sushi as the night grew on. Definite a place to bookmark and try out. I can’t wait until I hit up Sumo Sushi again!!!
