Dudley Arms

This family run pub is well worth a visit. it is situated in Ingleby Greenhow near great ayton but worth the effort of getting there.
It has a split level resturant so if you can try and book a table upstairs it is lovely and great for people watching. It all has a very medieval feel.
The food is lovely — my husband insists they do the best steak he has had.
They also has a second resterant which is bistro style and you don’t have to book.
They have a website where you can check the menus and get directions. The food is alacarte british steaks & chicken & beef but I am sure there are veggie options too but I haven’t tried any. They also have a really good selection of wine so you can have a wonderful posh romantic dinner here. I can really recommend it.

A fantastic place to go out just for a drink or an even better meal. Set in the little village of Ingleby Greenhow.
It feels like a real local place as you enter but not one where everyone looks at you as you enter. In the bar there is lots of wooden panneling and people for years have been squeezing their business cards in the joints of the panneling which adds a rather quaint touch to the room. This has comfortable seating as you wait for your table inside the restaurant. Through into the restaurant it it set on 2 levels and the top is laid out rather like a gallery. If you sit up here you can look down below as it is not closed in at all, There are booths down below for seating as well as tables and chairs in the middle. The food is absolutely lovely and the service very good however I never mind waiting as the atmosphere is so nice. Prices are reasonable and expected for what you get

Only ever been once and if i could find my way back i would certainly go again, food was spectacular, service was great, real friendly little place.

Went there last night, the food and service were very good and I will certainly go again. The filet steak was, well, excellent. Steaks are their specialty and it shows very clearly indeed. The salad was near perfect. We had to wait a little while to be seated but it was an enjoyable bustle to witness. Service from the girls was excellent. A great all round venue in a lovely rural location. 4+ stars.
