Johanna’s is a well situated coffee shop, being in the centre of the town. Although it is in a lane it is easily accessible from the main street. It offers an adequate amount of seating and there is ample space for children’s buggies and highchairs available for young children. The café offers a wide range of food from complete meals to snacks and there is a substantial list of drinks available. The staff are friendly and efficient and make every effort to clear and clean tables quickly as customers leave and others arrive. The entire shop is very clean and tidy.

This always seems such a busy little Café and you are often hard pushed to be able to find a seat. if you do find somewhere though, you can feel a bit closed in as it appears quite dark in there even in the height of summer. The prices are good and the service is acceptable. You can tell that they feel under pressure to serve the people coming in for sandwiches and also to serve the people sitting down and eating. You don’t feel very valued at times but the food makes you soon forget that. It is excellent and well worth a visit if you are passing.
