I’m getting sick and tired of Vision Express with a negative experience with my glasses, in the past 1 – 2 months, I have had to go in about 5 times to all different branches, and probably 6 or 7 since the middle of January 2015, when I bought my glasses, which shouldn’t be the case. All but one visit was too this store. The staff seem nice still, with some better than others however it seems a good number of the staff have left to join a rival company, after speaking to a really nice guy who used to work here, who followed suit and left Vision Express(Yes, he stopped me in the street and spoken to me) it proves some of the best staff, who are assets to the store are leaving and they need to do something about it. They is a good selection of glasses but honestly, nothing but average and some of the prices are over the top. On occasions of my visits to get my glasses fixed, they don’t prove to have knowledge of what they are doing even the Opticians, as my glasses keep going back to normal. It isn’t a big deal, but you also can’t get signal in the store(At least I can’t on O2), which can be a problem if you want to check your emails over a wait, and I rarely get offered a coffee,(only once on about 10 visits including picking up and choosing my glasses) which when they is a coffee machine, I feel is a little impolite if I am waiting. They do have an insurance scheme, however even though I paid £9 for it and got designer glasses, I would still have to pay 25 percent towards the glasses if I got a new pair, however this would mean forking out after spending over £100 in the first place, when I have not even had my glasses for 6 months. It looks like my experience with Vision Express, this store in particular, which I felt would go on for a lifetime, is like my contract with Tesco Mobile: counting down the days until the end.

I went here with my boyfriend for his lenses and for my glasses as well. You don’t have to wait for too long(but you need an appointment) until someone will see you and it will give you advice and everything you need for your eyes. He usually pays by direct debit, everymonth for his lenses and they deliver them to your door. I like that. Sometimes if you rather, you can pick them from the shop, but surely, it’s more convenient to get them right at the door step. As for my glasses, they fixed really quickly something at the frame. So I can wear them again. They asked me If I want to try contact lenses, as a trial thing. But I said no, cuz I need my glasses just to protect my eyes when I’m in from of my laptop, and too be honest, lenses are a pain in the bum for me. Take them out, wash them with whatever solution… no, I’ll be rubbish at it. Back to Vision. They have acceptable prices for the frames in the shop. I was actually trying to find a new pair as well, as a spear one, but I’ve decided to postpone, cuz I’m never patient when I need to try out ten million things until I find the right one. But all in all, the staff is great, like it. Very helpful and ready to help you out and find the best for you. I’ll probably go there again, why not?
