I guess what you think of this store is going to be pretty much dependent on your opinion of Timberland clothes isn’t it? People I know seem to be half in the category of loving Timberland boots and the other half in the category of hating them. I can understand this because sometime I think they are good and sometimes I think they are terrible. I think its because the type of boots they are should be well worn, and should assist you in things like manual labour and D.I.Y, but for some reason people treat them as if they are sacred, spitting on their hands and wiping off even the slightest smudges. Silly twits. Also, the boots seem to catch everyones attention and distract the populace from realizing they sell some pretty cool other clothes too.

Going by their marketing materials, Timberland want us to walk into their stores and imagine big, strong, heterosexual men dressed in their classic boots, jeans and shirts chopping down trees, building houses and other ‘macho’ tasks. Alas, when ever I walk into this store I imagine the hordes of bears * I’ve seen wearing black leather chaps and tight denim cut-offs with unlaced Timberlands. Some of them might go home and build tree houses but I imagine most of them probably get upto something much more X rated with their Timberlands still on! Like the website, this particular store stocks Custom, Varsity and Campus style boots in a variety of colours. And yes, the leather is still durable and waterproof. * Bear is an affectionate name for a big, hairy, gay guy.
