It’s quite difficult to write about a waxing studio without giving too much information but this is my new favourite salon, and I’ve been to a fair few in my time. I visited for both a wax and for semi permanent eyelashes. The wax was first and I was talked through the whole process, told exactly what positions to be in and exactly what would happen next. I’ve never experienced this before and it was so welcome! I’ve heard many a horror story of people stripping when the therapist didn’t need/want them to, lying the wrong way, etc. This way you know exactly what to do and things just work out better. My eyelashes cost the bargain price of £30 which is half the price of my last set. I’ve had them on nearly 2 weeks with very little loss. The last set I had fell off within 2 weeks. They charge £20 for refills and anticipate this will be needed at around the 4 – 6 week mark. My eyelashes took around 45 minutes and look perfect, no clumping whatsoever. They are also designed specifically for my lashes so I have shorter ones on the inside of my eye socket and longer on the outside. They are natural looking and I’ve had so many compliments on them I can see this being a new must have for me in my beauty régime! The eye lash specialist is quiet but efficient making sure you also have a patch test before a set of lashes. They have 20% off on Sundays(yes! Open 7 days a week!) and for students. They are also planning on doing nails in the new year. I guess I better make my appointments in advance now…
