The staff are very busy but didn’t seem very friendly. It looked like it just seems to be passing trade mainly. I don’t think any returning customers will go back to this one and would rather returned to the one in the food court inside the Arndale.

Situated in a far corner spot of picadilly gardens, it gets all the footfall to/​from Picadilly train station. In the evenings its not the most desirable place to be but handy.
Inside there is limited seating on two levels, all quite open plan. The free refill drink machine is by the till.
As subways go its not the most inciting and the one 2 minutes walk away in the approach to the train station itself (near the entrance) is where in future I would go over this one.

If you like me who feels hungry at all odd hours even especially post midnight then this subway branch at the junction of Northern Quarter and Piccadilly gardens can be your next best friend!
You can’t sit in and eat after 11 pm but they are open till 3 am if you are happy to just grab a quick sub and eat it on the way! There is not much I can write about the food because I guess everyone knows what a subway sandwich tastes like. My personal favorite has to be the chicken terriyaki on an hearty italian bread! They have all the regular meal deal options and the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming (which is always a good thing).
Verdict: Hungry post midnight and don’t want a greasy pizza? head to this subway branch!
