A wonderful buying experience at rite fix diy. I like the prices and wide rang of products but above that the services I received was undoubtedly 5 stars. I will definitely recommend this shop to my friends and family.

Forget B&Q, Ali’s DIY shop is amazing and should be your first point of call for getting nails, lightbulbs, a hammer, or whatever random piece of DIY equipment that you actually need. This place is packed to rafters with stock, and it’s all reasonably priced. The customer service is great. I’m not sure if the guy serving was actually the famous Ali, but I hope he was because he was mega friendly, smiley and chatty. I love a good bot of pleasant customer service for a change. Keep things local. Next time you think about driving to B&Q, just go to Ali’s instead. He’ll sort you out and he’ll do it with a smile on his face too.

I remember when I was producing the hall play in my second year. It was living hell. A constant stream of things to do, rehearsals to arrange and rearrange, and stages to build. We tried to cancel it at one point, were told we couldn’t and had to make do with what we had. We had four weeks to do it all. And without Ali’s, we probably would never have managed it. I eventually ended up running a £100 bill through trips back and forth to the shop, which was, of course, eventually reimbursed by the hall. This gave me a large opportunity to see exactly what it had to offer, and offer it did. Like any good hardware store, it’s packed to the gills with all the stuff you’d need to construct a small castle, and all at reasonable prices. Tools, nails, wires, clips, screws, chains, tapes… you name it, the guy behind the counter will find it lurking somewhere within. It certainly saved the play, maybe it can save whatever nefarious DIY deeds you’re getting up to.
