I’m going to be honest here… I signed up with Natwest as a student to get the free five year railcard… one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I don’t want to curse myself now but I’ve never ever had an issue with them. I’ve sat throught my friend’s horror stories about every other high street bank that I can think of over the years but I’ve never heard anyone complain about Natwest.
It’s simple, they leave you alone unless you need help. On a few occasions I’ve popped in to talk about my graduate account, my overdraft etc, I’ve never called in advance for an appointment and never waited more than five minutes.
I’ve always been perfectly happy with the advice I’ve been given and never been treated as anything less than a valued customer.
There’s lots of branches around the town centre makes it very handy, they even open on Saturdays too because they understand that not everyone does the 9 – 5!

I have been with Natwest for over ten years now and I can honestly say they are the best bank I have dealt with. They were great whilst I was a student and I have now secured a mortgage through them.
I cannot recommend them to you enough. If you’re not with Natwest and your thinking of changing banks do it!
This branch is really handy if your in town and you need money but have forgot your card. You regularly see me running in in a panic fumbling around in my bag!
