I’ve got to say I’m not a fan. Potatoes and sandwiches can be acquired at a similar price at threefold the quality from other establishments in the surrounding area.
The baguettes here are soggy. At Big Hands down the road, you can get a ridiculous baguette with any meat and any cheese, as well as lots of salad, for £3. Much better. For non-​bageutte sandwiches walk down to the precinct and get a make-​your-​own from Fruit & Nut sandwich bar. For potatoes, I prefer the ones in the Samuel Alexander building, at Lime Café.
In short, there’s no need to go here. Located at the top of a metal spiral staircase, there’s just no need to make the effort to ascend. Loud, uncomfortable seating, and average food. Cheap, but so are many places around here.
