KFC

The worst KFC I’ve ever eaten — avoid.
KFC is my guilty pleasure, I adore it but rarely allow myself to indulge. This one is situated on a small retail park just off the M60 so convenient for my other half to go to on his way home from work. I had the worst hangover (see previous 3 check ins for how that happened…) and was desperate for food.
I ordered a large fully loaded meal with a fillet burger, piece of chicken, coleslaw and water to drink. I also had a gravy. Dan had a box of chicken with fries. The burger bun was dry and hard, the chicken burger was dry and flavourless. The chips were really unpleasant, again hard & dry and the gravy was also flavourless with a horrible texture. The coleslaw was good but then it comes in a sealed pack so they can hardly get that wrong. No issues with the water either.
Don’t choose this place its really awful.

The Food was below average; The chicken was a little on the dry side. Definitely not a good kfc compared to others but not the worst. The drive thru for me was pretty quick and efficient, also service came with a smile. But back to the problems again; gravy was a little tasteless a boring. The main quibble is the whole shop and its surrounding area is filthy and very very dirty. The floors inside felt very sticky and the drive thru section need a good jet spray seeing to. The site manager should delegate someone to do this. Not rocket science. Kfc headquarters should inspect this outlet and take a few stars away from this francisee. Conclusion — food below average, service is friendly but the site is very very very very very very very digustingly filthy. VERY

Awful. Drive thru is the slowest ever. Fast food it is not. This particular KFC has always been excruciatingly slow whether you eat in or drive through. AVOID IF POSSIBLE. Only here to satisfy the wife’s cravings! If the app would would let me give it ZERO stars I would. Everyone’s appears to be in a slow motion movie clip! Arghhhhh. 20 min wait so far!

I have visited many KFC outlets and I must admit this is one of the better ones I have been through.
Normally use the Drive Thru and its quick and efficient with friendly staff.
The inside of the restaurant is busy and very clean, the area isn’t rough so you are able to speak to a member of staff without being separated by a sheet of glass.
I have found that the chicken is cooked very well and isn’t overly greasy which can very easily become soggy in other outlets.

Not a bad KFC, although I’ve been to better.
Its normally reasonably clean and the food is normally up to KFC standard, but I would rather go to the one in the Traffod Centre if the car parks not heaving. Its probably better to go through the drive through and not watch your food being handled and cooked.
The service is usually quick unless its overly busy.
