As with all Frankie and Bennys the décor is incredible and the place appeared very clean, well looked after. Myself and 2 friends went for a late brunch on a Saturday morning and the food quality left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was of such a poor standard. I was shocked. Ordered something that stated in came with 4 rashes of bacon it actually came with 1. The toast was literally warm bread and one of the eggs was just a yolk. The waitress was very pleasant and service was relatively quick considering it was Saturday morning but you can get the same service, competitive price and much much better food at Spoons. Genuinely would not return. Disappointed.

Large bustling Frankie and Benny’s eatery. Extensive menu, loud music and filled with the aroma of delicious food. Recommended after a heavy day shopping! Can be quite expensive at times but during lunch hours, the extensive menu caters for anybody! Recommended since it’s just right outside the Trafford Centre for anyone wanting a meal before they trek home!

Travelling with the kids and they thought this place looked great. I don’t want to knock it, as it probably delivers what its target audience wants, but calorie-laden food isn’t what I’m looking for. I wouldn’t go by myself, but the kids did enjoy it.

I am SO not happy with this place! However, I am a lover, not a hater so first I will mention its good bits. 1)I love the old America theme and the Sinatra and Sammy Davies Rat Pack songs that are played. 2) I didn’t try the food but it looked really nice on the table next door. 3) This Frankie and Benny’s is a lovely building quaintly surrounded by water, like a castle with its moat. To enter it, you must walk across a tiny bridge and there are fish swimming beneath your feet. This place is perfect for long Summer days and has plenty of outdoor seating around tables with parasols. This is a tranquil and relaxing oasis away from the Trafford Centre mahem. Now for the bad bits: 1) My Dad always used to tell me «don’t run before you can walk» and this is exactly what Frankie and Bennys are trying to do. It is trying to serve cocktails and it just ain’t ready yet. Why oh why does every bar and restaurant believe that they can do cocktails. Cocktail mixing is an art form, and when you talk to a true mixologist you will see just how well informed these guys are. Not just any old Tom, Dick, Frankie or Benny can do it you know! It was last Saturday evening and I was thirsty so 2 friends and I popped in and ordered three«Coolers» which are peach or strawberry syrup with rum and crushed ice for £2.95 each. 2) We waited 5 minutes to be served, then(3) the bar man took 15 minutes to prepare the drinks. This was one inexperienced cocktail waiter and he had to consult a manual in order to create our Coolers. He got so angry and flustered and actually became quite intimidating after he gave us the wrong change(4). The manager stepped in and he was very professional and attempted to rectify the situation but we were angry and thirsty by then. The bad bits outweigh the good bits here I’m afraid. My advice to all Unilocalers: okay for a beer or glass of wine after shopping. Don’t ask for a cocktail.

I’m not the biggest fan of Frankie and Benny’s, it’s a chain restaurant which takes on too much. Not satisfied with being an American or Italian themed restaurant, it instead tries to take on both. And I’m sad to say it fails pretty miserably in most areas. Nothing is outstanding, the service is pretty mediocre but that’s the same in most of the Trafford Centre. It’s kind of a good location being based in car park because it’s not always as busy as the restaurants inside as people forget about it. The prices are OK but not cheap. It’s OK for lunch but I really wouldn’t head here for dinner. It’s a jack of all trades, master of none.

Frankie & Benny’s just outside the Trafford Centre is a good place to have a break and a bite to eat between shopping. They serve a good range of Italian American food such as pizza, pasta, burgers and calzones. The atmosphere is great and they play some cool music. The prices are average for a restaurant, but if you go in the day you can have a set menu of 2 or 3 courses for between £7-£10. The drinks prices are average and the service is fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Excellent food and service! I can recommend the BBQ chicken pizza and the salads are delicious! Plenty of parking outside and it is also situated near the shops so great after you’ve been walking around on your feet all day. Lots of space in there too so there was no need to book. Clean toilets as well(with a tape teaching you Italian!)
