Flixton Dance Studio

Calling all stage mums out there! If you can see your little prince or princess on the grand stage, with thousands of adoring fans calling out their name, then pop along to Flixton Academy of Performing Arts in Urmston and let them commence their journey to stardom. Just like the school in Fame (well not quite; it is not set in New York, kids don’t run outside and dance on cars and their is no Leroy– sigh, I was in love, and no, I didn’t know he was gay, I was 6!!!) Flixton Dance Studio runs classes for your little darlings from ages 4 up to 18 in all disciplines.
Naomi and Gillian teach Ballet and Tap, or if your child prefers something more upbeat, there are classes in Disco and Rock and Roll. Strictly Come Dancing fans can learn Ballroom Latin and Classical sequence and all the fly girls and guys out there can pop and lock to a bit of Street Dance and Hiphop. Flixton Academy takes the art of dance seriously and all pupils must take practical exams every 6 months and wear a uniform. Drama and Singing lessons are also taught so your multi-​talented children can progress in many areas
I only wish I could go there, I have an undiscovered reserve of raw, natural talent and could be the only girl member of Diversity, back flipping while Perry flies overhead. Okay, WAKE UP, its morning.
