I have eaten here previously and loved the food, the staff were brilliant and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. However, went here today with our 6week old son and was shown to a table at which we couldn’t fit his pram and when I asked if we could use an end table we were told no incase food gets split on him by passing waiters. Ok, fair enough so we asked if we could use a table out of the way but enough space from pram to which we were told these tables(right behind the ones we were shown to) weren’t «open». Ok, not fair enough we promptly left advising they should try to accommodate for mum’s with prams.

Being my first time at Exchange Bar and Grill… I was looking forward to a good meal and I wasn’t disappointed. The service wasn’t the best. the waitress was always busy chatting to other staff, but we got her attention and she took our order. I ordered Nacho’s for start, and chicken burger for main. The food was gorgeous, and home made coleslaw… absolutely stunning. Well cooked, very juicy and fresh. It took less than 5 mins from ordering that I got my starter which is amazing. They have offers on at the minute and a starter, with main cost me £7.95. When you see the size of the burger you will know exactly what your paying for. The whole place looked clean, tidy and homely. I will defo be coming back to this place, and would recommend it to anyone.

I was surprised to read a review that this restaurant was not very nice, I have had many meals there and to date have not had any I didn’t like. I have enjoyed both the nachos to start with and then with burgers for a main course. I have a rather fussy eating partner who doesn’t have a problem choosing what to eat, basically the menu is burgers and burgers. My advise is if you want something else then go somewhere else don’t be surprised that they sell lots of burgers. The waiting staff are very friendly but I do occasionally find the woman at the beginning who asks you how many in your party can be a bit rude but get past her and all is well.

This has got to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever had! Reheated chicken that was still frozen in the middle. Avoid avoid avoid.
