Emma Thomas – Failsworth

I used to go to Emma Thomas’s hair salon a couple of years ago and was always really pleased with the service I received. The prices are reasonable and the staff really down to earth and friendly. I only stopped going as a faimily member opened their own shop and I have to support family. I would have no hesitation of returning in the future. Highly recommended.

While on holiday visiting friends and family I went for a Brazilian wax just before New Year’s. The esthetician met me at the desk and lead my wife and I up the stairs to the treatment room. The room was comfortable and private. Even in the dead of winter is was nice and toasty up there. warm enuf to keep me warm while nude.
The esthetician asked if I ever had a braz before (I had) and what areas I wanted done. For the sake of this review, I’ll not get into details, but I told/​showed her exactly where I wanted the hair removed and she affirmed that she knew what I required.
She started out well, doing exactly what I told her but somewhere in the middle of the job she decided that I need more removed. She glopped a huge bit of wax, and in the end she removed about an inch past where we agreed I would not be done. When the waxing was finished she left me to my own devices to remove the left over wax bits that were left on my body… this was something I’ve never had to do for any other waxing I’ve had.
Overall the facilities were great but the waxing was poor. Maybe she just wasn’t used to a male client. Maybe she was having an off day, I don’t know, but I’ll not go back for another.

I have done my hair permennent straight 2 months ago, when i went to work, none of my friends noticed I got my hair done. nothing has changed. then i called them, they asked me to go there to redo. but every time i went there, they always give me a lot excuses then ask me off again. evenually i got an appointment yesterday, when i got there, opened the door, nobody greeted me, gave me cold shoulder at first, then i got my hair washed, they just let me sit there, even don’t have a towel on my head, the water everywhere, then they blow dry my hair by cold wind, and the hairdresser very rough. imagine it’s –5 outside and snowing. they they put something on my hair, and keep blow dry and use straigher, this time i can feel the straighter very hot. sometime i can feel bunt my scalp. when finished, my hair feel heavy and rough, by that time i was too angry to say anything, i just left. i strongly recommd to anyone if you want to get a decent hair cut and a good service, never never go to emma thomas salon. or you ‘ll regret it.

Emma Thomas is a Hairdressers Salon located in Failsowrth Mnachester and i feel i must give them a review as i had my hair done there yesterday the prices are really good i had a Wash Colour and cut for £40 bargain i was pampered during my visit and hand massage for free and loads of good magazines and the best hot chocolate. They really do go out of there way to make your visit as good as possible.
