Currys PC World

Currys PC World’s store in the Manchester Arndale was one I recently visited to pick up a good deal on a printer, I would of had to go to Warrington but then one came in stock here, hours after I ordered it, the store rang me to mention it was an ex-​display one and the emploee checked with the manager and offered me 10 percent off.
This is quite a nice store, with seating near the till and knowhow desk and it is very high tech I find.
The member of staff who served me had no clue about the phone call, she did manage to get the discount and the printer for me.
The member of the staff was quite slow when speaking, which avoided a 2 minute in and out job.
I did feel very offended that the staff member began to explain how to install HP E-​print, after she asked me and I told her I do know how to do it.
Remember to take a name if the store do give you a call, appartantly they have a few managers so it can be confusing to find out who put it to one side for you and who offered you a discount.
My server also didn’t seem to understand my questioning, she charged me £1.99 for a month of Instant Ink and it said on the website and someone else told me that it would come with 2 months free Instant Ink, instead of just a normal 301 ink cartridge.
The server could of provided more information on things I wanted to know, rather than what I already knew.
My server did treble bag my printer as they was no bags that it would fit in due to its incredible size, this was nice but I would prefer it if they had bags for every product, which they should do really instead of the time consuming way of making a super bag from 3 – 4 bags.
This store is quite small for a city centre store I think and the Oldham store has a much wider selection and is much bigger, so I do prefer that store hence I have to mark this store down at 2 stars for the following main reasons:
The staff could of gave me more relevant information
It could be a better store for selection and sizing especially being in a city centre
They was confusion
They is many Currys PC World stores much better than this.
I probably would avoid this store in the near future and visit my local branch.
