Charlie’s Chippy

It is easy to miss this little gem at the moment with all the building work going on in Urmston. However it is well worth the effort. This is tucked round a corner (the Urmston furniture centre is on the corner directly opposite the TSB) Anyway, the first thing you will normally see is the huge queues, the reason is two fold-​the shop is very small and the food being so fantastic attracts loads of people
Along with the usual chippy stuff they also do loads of specials, have two curry offers each day, but hte real star of the show is the yummy fish which is well worth the wait.
The queues ARE big but htey move the crowd really well. The staff are friendly and the portions are excellent.
The parking may be a problem at the moment but honestly it is well worth the effort.
