Average. They’re a chain of pubs and we usually go to the Bulls Head in Astly (which is their sister branch) and in my opinion is much better. It’s cleaner, the staff are much more friendly and the service generally faster. The tables at the Barton arms were all dirty and nothing was cleared away promptly. We ordered 2 mains, I had the chicken burger whichm came with a verity of dips and I didn’t actually have any complaints, but the guy I was with had the half roast chicken and said it was awful. He complained it was really dry and a bit tasteless. So all in all not very impressive. We also ordered a Sunday to share but it didn’t have half the ingredients on the menu, so was basically just ice cream and brownies.

like the new look. meal was very nice had the set meal 2 course for £6−95. only fault didnt have any of the sweets i wanted so i said i would have the apple pie with custard and they said it only comes with icecream so i had to have starter.

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic friendly service with affordable prices. Lots of parking and disabled access. I love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone! Lots of comfy chairs and sofas, fires and quiz night. Lots of drinks and wine. Lots of offers on food like two meals for eight pounds.
