The Inn On The Green

Stayed here one night when I was away with work and i left it a bit last minute with the hotel booking. Nice surprise i ended up here!
Its now called the Sanctum on the green and is situated like the name suggests on a village green. It is esentially a pub with rooms and lo has an open air swimming pool and spa. It was about 9pm when i arrived so i just wanted to get some food and relax, i was swiftly checked in and shown to my room. When I went back to the bar to order my meal the chap that checked me in remembered by first name which i thought was a nice touch.
I ordered the venison for main, green beans and a glass of wine. Restaurant is called Lukes and served lovely food (see pictures).
My only slight complaint was that the fan in my bathroom was sticking so it was pretty noisy but I mentioned it to the lady on checking out and im sure they will have got it fixed. They also had orla kiely and REN products in the bathroom so a winner on that front.

This is a very nice restaurant in Cookham Dean (address above shoudl nto say Maidenhead!) It is located in a perfect idyliic setting, by the cricket pitch in a lovely village. The restaurant serves excellent food — it is quite pricey. however we went on a top table offer and it was exceptional value!
They have a lovely bar with open fire with also a lovely conservatory. They also have an extension for large parties, christenings, weddings etc
