Hungry horses are always great value for money. The food here is good and the bar staff are friendly. Guaranteed to be full of families on the weekends. Other Hungry Horses in the area are The First & Last in Church St. Dunstable and The Chequers in Houghton Regis both of which are newly refurbished and have nicer surroundings than this one.

This Hungry Horse is pretty big with a good play-​area outside. It is very popular and gets rather jam-​packed so getting a table on a weekend is not guaranteed. It has a Bar side with the usual Pool tables and Big-​screen TV’s and a restaurant side for families. The menu is extensive and very good value for money as you would expect from a Hungry Horse pub and there is plenty of parking outside. One thing I would say though that it can attract a bit of trouble at night time, so best take kids in the day only.
