I usually don’t eat McDonalds but the festive feast here is addictive, had about 4 of them in 3 days. For that you’ll get 3 stars. In going for another one today

A typical city centre branch of McDonald’s where it is open from early for breakfast until late.
The staff are fairly pleasant and the food is, well, it’s McDonald’s food, so you know what your getting.
The time I visited I was surprised to find it fairly quiet.
The toilets were fairly small and cramped, but they were clean, which is the main thing.
So on the whole, nothing out of the ordinary but the place is clean and the staff friendly

You get no suprises here, a typical example of the chain.
It is clean enough and the food is fine.
There is a tendancy to find large groups of teenagers hanging around both inside and outside. This can make it hard to find a seat inside.

As another reviewer has said, this place is busy and has long lines at peak times of the day (Especially lunch times every day of the week.) It has recently been refurbished, and has some very comfortable chairs: In the evenings it can be a nice place to relax with a friend, when it is less busy.
Because it is so busy, the staff seem hurried, but are mostly friendly. I find that the later in the day it is, the less patient they can be, but this is only a general observation!
The food can be cooked to order, and is normally nice a hot when you get it.
There are also clean, well equiped toilets at the front of the restaurant next to the counter.

I only stop in here if out shopping with my daughter in Lowestoft. It is a restaurant with no drive through and is often busy with long queues and as a consequence it can be rather difficult to find a seat. This appears to have worsened since a recent refurbish.
There are however plenty of staff who are constantly cleaning the tables and sweeping the floors and the tills are usually all open.
The staff are friendly and helpful, since my daughter can not eat pickles, and they have always been happy to make her meal to order. The staff are also always tidy and smartly dressed, the food is hot and fresh and the Happy Meals are excellent value with healthy options and a quality toy provided.
