Zizzi

I know Zizzi is a chain, and I don’t usually bother reviewing those, but I was incredibly impressed with the service here!
We brought a group of people over, including my 8 month old sister, and my 4 year old brother who was exhausted from a looong day of sightseeing, afternoon tea, and theatre (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Shortly after sitting down, he began getting restless and at some point started screaming. Embarrassing, all the more so since my father apparently is not as strict anymore as he used to be with us, so he just allowed the tantrum. My husband and I don’t have children, so I had no idea what to do to stop him…
The staff at Zizzi, however, was so kind and patient! They immediately brought out a kids’ placemat for him to color and do other stuff with, they got him a bowl of carrots, celery, and breadsticks to keep him busy, and they made sure his kids’ pizza came out immediately. And when he was really throwing a tantrum, they offered to make a balloon for him and show him the fire in the kitchen! I was very impressed and thankful for their efforts. They were so friendly! My little brother calmed down soon after, and fell asleep on their comfy benches.
As for the food, we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had at this Zizzi. Good quality, authentic Italian food and generous portions. Try the cheese fondue, yum! Nice antipasto platters too.

Pleasant enough. Warm service & food quite nice though starters were slightly underwhelming esp the 3 small arancini which had no mozzarella. Pizzas were very good though

Zizzi offers acceptable food, even if it’s a smidgen expensive for what you get.

Whilst I am a genuine fan of Zizzi’s and luv their menu, I just wasn’t impressed with their customer service, not to mention they got my order wrong, however wouldnt stop me going again!

I love the range of pasta dishes available here and at a great price too! I used to work just down the road from here and would often visit for lunch and have leaving lunches here.
The staff are very attentive and will tailor a dish to suit if they can and best of all the prices are very reasonable, you get great value for money!
The only downside is parking before 6.30pm as there are meters and wardens everywhere so if visiting for lunch make sure you have plenty of change with you!

Went here yesterday as recommended by a friend. Nice modern well designed and clean establishment. Seemed to have a large wine selection.
Pizza was good but nothing special considering it was an italian restaurant.
Staff are excellent and were constantly asking if everything was OK.
Very nice and clean toilets. Important, this is good way to deduce how clean the kitchen is!
Can’t comment on atmosphere as it was a Monday so was not that busy.
Bill for 4 people came to around £58, inc a couple of starters, mains and about 6 drinks.
