Well well, it’s seems like it’s taken a while but Zara Knightsbridge is no longer crap! I pass this one rather often and it is always busy. That really is an obvious and perhaps silly statement to make considering it’s prime location, but for the point I want to make it’s important! Coming up from Knightsbridge tube station, on your right you will find Harrods and to your left on the opposite corner, sits Zara, and you dont have to be a nuclear physicist to work out that this store has a good feed of people traffic most of the time. So, you can imagine how super surprised I was when I ventured in one grey evening, in the vain hope of finding a dress that I tried on well over a month ago, but low and behold to my utter disbelief, there it was and in my size no less. To Zara, I doff my cap. Good show. Well played.

I hate to have the FTR be a negative one, but my experience here wasn’t great. I love Zara but this store located right across from Harrods is a mess. Very disorganized and the placement of the racks doesn’t make sense to me. The staff were busy talking to each other instead of helping out customers or fixing racks and clothing. Stuff was all over the place. Shoes were on the floor, up on shelves, clothing was all mixed, mannequins were half-dressed. Big hot mess. Maybe it was because it was during the huge New Years sale, but I’ve seen some pretty crazy sales in New York City(after Christmas and Black Friday, hello!!), and I’ve never seen a Zara that was so disheveled. It’s really too bad because I love Zara clothing and would have loved to get some good deals during the sale, but it seemed impossible with the layout. I’ll take Black Friday Zara in NYC over this Zara in London.
