Good chips when you’re drunk but would you eat anything sober? I think not.

Mmmm… You know I love a bit of dirty meat! Well there is nothing dirty about the York Way Fish Bar. The chips are good old fashioned thick cut, fried to perfection, with a nice soft potato filling. You have to douse these beauties in salt and vinegar to get the full orgasmic effect. I love chips. I munched my way through a tasty ½ pound cheeseburger too, smothered in ketchup and stack up with salad. It was good.
You find the usual suspects of fried chicken, kebabs, sausages and pies, as you would in any good London chippy. There is nothing really to massively rave about, and not many chippies will give you the opportunity to rave. What you are looking for is simple things done well. The York Way Fish Bar fulfils this criteria.
