Yi-Ban Barn Restaurant

My previous review was about the restaurant next door — Memories of India — Which is truly fantastic. These two restaurants are serious about food and guarantee you a wonderful dining experience. If you want cheep and cheerful, then please go somewhere else. If you want exquisite food, excellent service in a relaxed and informal setting then go here.
The restaurant here is broken down into different area’s, first off is the cocktail bar, enjoy a pre dinner drink at the bar and relax while one of the bar staff pour you one of many cocktails designed in house which are superb. When you are sufficiently relaxed head into one of the two remaining area’s, The main restaurant which is simply in design and maybe a little claustrophobic but you will soon fade away into the background and become intoxicated by the smells and delivery of the food. The third area is the bar and grill area, here you can sit near the cooking area and watch the food being prepared and cooked. It is a bit like the sushi bars you see, something to experience but a bit to eat on the go for me.
It has never been too busy when I have eaten here, so I doubt reservations are required, special offers are available, so check them out when you get there.
