Très grande librairie sur 5 étages, avec un bar au 5ième. Le must pour aller chercher les dernières sorties de livres

As ever, everything you’d expect from Waterstones: Great, friendly and knowledgable staff and great range of books. It’s a smaller branch so very handy, especially now that they closed Borders down a few years ago.

Just like Caroline, I am more like a Borders girl. It such so much more fun, having the more relaxed atmosphere and magazines and all the bohemian mess around you. In a way, Waterstones is more elegant and serious. More quiet and in tip top order. Well of course any branch located in Oxford Street can’t be so consider this one an exception. Also I often find the books more pricey here but it is not like I have made any research on that subject. It is just a feeling. The book range is also slightly more focused on more academic genres so if it is a uni book you are looking for you are most likely to find it from Waterstones. (The picture: )

i went here today for the first time. I’m usually such a loyal borders customer but I was passing here and thought I’d pop my head in. I ended up buying a load of Christmas presents; they had a three for two deal on most of their books so I got the parent’s presents sorted for less than £30 and also got a few nice bookmarks made of metal letters for £2.50 for my friend’s stockings. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a magazine section like borders does so it isn’t so complete that way. i liked it though, it had a less commercial feel to it than some of the other chains.
